Nice To Meet You

My Name is Sonja

I'm a creative soul from the Netherlands who loves to paint. Ever since I was young I love to express myself through creative activities. I guess it's in my genes. Everybody in my family is creative, one way or another, so I quickly learned that I could express my fantasies and emotions through writing, drawing, painting and so on. When I started painting I made more realistic oil paintings, but soon I used acrylic paint because it was more fluid. I've experimented a lot over the years. Currently I make colorful (mostly intuïtive) watercolor paintings. It's quite basic, but it makes me feel good. Check out the gallery to get an impression of what I am creating.
